WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I SUBMIT MY ORDER VIA YOUR WEBSITE?

Once you place your order, we will place an authorization hold on your credit card for the full amount of your purchase. An authorization checks if your credit card is valid and that you have sufficient funds to complete the transaction. The total amount of the online transaction is held and deducted from your card limit. Even though the funds are held and deducted from your credit limit, the funds are not automatically transferred to us until we capture the funds. We try to capture the funds and ship your order within a 7-day window. However, some pieces may take longer to produce and therefore may not ship for 2-3 weeks from date of order. Custom made pieces vary in production time depending on the complexity of the item.

HOW LONG DOES A CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION LAST?

The credit card authorization period lasts up to 7 days in which we can issue a credit card capture (retrieve the funds from your account). If the credit card authorization has not been captured within 7 days, the authorization will be voided. The funds are no longer held from your account and are put back. The length of time it takes for the funds to be returned depends on your credit card issuing bank which is usually 3-5 business days.

WHAT IS VERIFICATION/EXTRA VERIFICATION?

Once an order is placed, it will be monitored by our verification department for possible fraud. Depending on the nature of the transaction, the order may then be investigated further, or "Extra-Verification". In this process, you will receive an email requesting some form of identification (License, Identification, etc.) as well as the last 4 digits of the credit card used for the purchase. In extreme cases, we may request a photo of yourself holding your identification and your credit card (a picture will be attached to email as an example). This is done to ensure that the person placing the order is, in fact, the cardholder. Keep in mind that we NEVER save these emails in our server, but rather place them in your customer profile so that you can avoid this process with future orders.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

We try our best to turn orders around as quickly as possible, but some items can take up to 2-3 weeks to receive (possibly longer for custom made pieces). We have a large selection of items for same day or second day delivery (for that please filter out to same day shipment.) If you need something by a certain date or would like expedited shipping, please make sure to include that in the notes section of your order, or send us an email at [email protected]

We will always do our best to accommodate your requests and we appreciate your understanding and patience.

STANDARD ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY*

You may request to cancel your order and we will issue you a full refund unless the production stage has completed, or your order has been shipped. In these cases, restocking fees and shipping fees will be deducted from your refund.

To request the cancellation of your order please email [email protected] with the subject "Cancel my order # [order # you want to cancel]". The order will be canceled within 24 hours upon receipt of the request.

*Custom jewelry projects and layaway orders are exempt from this cancellation policy. Please see the "Layaway Policy" and your "Custom Jewelry Agreement".

WHAT IS YOUR LAYAWAY POLICY?

Layaways require a 10% deposit of the items total for a product priced up to $1000 and a 5% deposit for products over $1000.00. If you wish to deposit a different amount, please contact our Sales Representative at 864-587-1511 or via Live Chat.

Final payment must be made within 1 year, how you choose to pay for the item is at your discretion. Items are not shipped until paid in full. Layaway guarantees the price of the item, not availability. If the item is no longer available after your order is completely paid off, please allow for 2 to 8 weeks to complete the production of the item.

Any cancellations will result in a refund in the form of credit toward a future purchase. Payments made towards a custom item are non-refundable.

Upon completion of your layaway if we detect an issue with your item, your order will be fully refunded.

Returns
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return the merchandise. A return must be made within 15 days of receiving* the item. *Receiving: is the estimated date on which the item will be delivered (this date is determined by the shipping company once the package is shipped). Shipping costs for the item cannot be refunded and a restocking fee of 10% shall be applied for returned goods (please note that other retailers charge 15% to 20%). In some cases, we can use your restocking fee as credit towards another purchase, please contact us at [email protected] for more information. All items which have been returned will be inspected to determine any use or if any modifications were made. If the returned items have already underwent considerable use or modification (such as ring re-sizing), this disqualifies the buyer from a refund. In this case, the refund will not be issued, and the purchased item will be sent back to buyer. Any custom work (including resizing, custom order, any dipping of the gold, etc.) will be exempt from all return and exchange policies. This work (item) is designed for a specific individual and therefore cannot be accepted under any pre-existing terms. Returns with our merchandise are quite rare as we take great means to provide you your merchandise in the best possible way. In any case, we guarantee that we are going to do our best to give you the best shopping experience possible. Any layaway orders canceled or returned will be in the form of store credit. (Money back refunds are not applicable to layaway orders). Payments made towards a custom item are non-refundable. Rolex, Cartier, and other specialty watches are not eligible for refund or exchange. NOTE: Please DO NOT send items back to us for return after 15 days. These items will be held until payment for return shipment is received. $20 for anywhere in the Continental USA and $50 for any international shipments, additionally these items will be sent via USPS priority mail. Shipping
Items usually ship within 2 to 5 days of purchase, if you want same day or 2-day shipment please filter items to same day shipment (order must be placed before 3PM).

If an item ships after 7 Business days, it will be express delivered at no extra charge.

If you need an item by a certain date, this can possibly be arranged. Please call any of our Customer Representatives if you wish to make this type of request.

PICK UP
To pick up your online purchase in store, you need to contact us at [email protected] or text us at 864-587-1511 and request order pick up.

Once your order is approved for pick up, you will receive an email confirmation.

Please make sure that your items are ready for pick up by calling us 864-587-1511 or emailing us at [email protected]

Instructions for pickup will be included in the confirmation email. Please bring your government issued Photo ID as well as credit/debit cards you used as your payment method for this order. We will have to verify cardholder's identity prior to releasing the order. Once your order is picked up, you will receive another confirmation email. Order only can be picked up by the CARDHOLDER.

Warranty
Diamond Couture offers a 30 Day, in-house complimentary warranty on all diamond jewelry purchased from us. For instance, if you happened to drop your diamond ring down the stairs and a diamond fell out, we will fix it for free (only includes diamonds below 1/10 carat). Additionally, you can purchase an extended lifetime warranty at the following rates:
